Rainforest Fruit Long Rectangle Chiffon Scarf 67 x 180cm
Presenting a distinctively Australian Aboriginal art design by respected Kuku Yalanji artist, Andrew Gibson, this beautifully handmade silk scarf exemplifies Mainie’s “Luxurious, Authentic, Unique” trademark.
The design is based on an original painting called “Quandongs on the River”. Quandongs are a rare blue rainforest fruit which are gathered by the Kuku Yalanji Aboriginal People as a traditional food.
Quandongs can also be used to make jewellery. The Kuku Yalanji are the Traditional Owners of the spectacular Mossman Gorge in Far North Queensland.
This exquisite wearable art piece is presented in a handmade gift box with the artwork provenance and the Aboriginal artist’s biography.
